Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern access to the Rithi website, customer accounts, quotations, purchases and related services. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled and is acknowledged separately during account creation.
1. Customer accounts
You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for protecting your password and for activity carried out through your account. Tell Rithi promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Rithi may suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, misuse or a security risk.
2. Contact details and account communications
Your email address is used for account access, password setup, security notices, order documents and service communications. A phone number is optional at registration and may be used for delivery coordination, order support, fraud checks or an account issue. These operational communications are different from advertising and may be necessary to provide a service you requested.
3. Promotional choices are optional
Creating an account does not require consent to advertising. Promotional email and promotional SMS are presented as separate, unchecked choices. If you opt in, Rithi may use the selected contact detail to send product news, buying guides, sales and other promotional messages. You can withdraw consent at any time without charge. Each connected marketing service must provide an easy unsubscribe or STOP method as appropriate.
4. How account information may be used
Account information may be used to authenticate you, maintain your cart and saved products, process orders and quotations, arrange payment and delivery, provide customer care and warranties, prevent fraud, secure and improve the website, keep legally required records and resolve disputes. Necessary information may be shared with payment, delivery, hosting, communications, professional-advisory and security providers only for the relevant service. More detail appears in the Privacy Policy.
5. Orders, prices and availability
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. Acceptance occurs when Rithi confirms the order or dispatches the product, subject to payment, availability and verification. Prices, stock and delivery estimates may change before acceptance. If a material error affects an order, Rithi will contact you to confirm a correction or provide an appropriate cancellation and refund option.
6. Delivery, returns and warranties
Delivery areas, charges and estimates are shown or confirmed during checkout or quotation. Product-specific warranty terms and lawful consumer rights continue to apply. See Shipping & Returns and Warranty for current service details.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, submit unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, scrape the service in a way that disrupts it, or use an account for fraud. Rithi may take proportionate steps to protect customers, systems and legal rights.
8. Security and availability
Rithi applies reasonable safeguards to customer information and the storefront, but internet services are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or completely secure. Keep your password confidential, use a unique password and sign out on shared devices. Planned maintenance, supplier outages or events outside reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
9. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Kenyan law. To the extent permitted by law, Rithi is not responsible for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable or for loss caused by misuse, unauthorised account access attributable to the customer, or events beyond reasonable control.
10. Changes, governing law and contact
Rithi may update these Terms for legal, security or service changes. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate and the updated date will be shown above. Kenyan law governs these Terms. Questions may be sent to denis.m.majesty@gmail.com or raised by telephone on 0714 168 346.
